The East Surrey Embroiderers Guild meets monthly and organises talks by well-known textile artists on a wide variety of subjects connected with embroidery and textiles. The Guild also organises regular Saturday workshops to give members hands-on experience of learning and developing many techniques.
The membership covers a range of talents from complete beginner to professional artist. Exhibitions of work are held every 18 months. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Carlton Road, Redhill, starting at 8 pm.
There is also a young embroiderers group which holds Saturday workshops six times a year for those aged from 8-16.
