The Reigate Society was founded in 1952 as an independent non-political body. It is governed by a Council elected annually by the members, and covers Reigate, Redhill, Merstham and Earlswood.
The Society works through its Council to inspire, initiate and co-ordinate events to enhance the district. It seeks to influence potential developers, planning authorities and other public bodies, including the central Government.
A programme is provided of talks, discussions and similar events throughout the year together other social activities for the information and enjoyment of its members. Newsletters and an annual report are circulated. For further information please contact Bridget Doughty on 01737 240 974.
