St Mark’s Players are a friendly amateur drama group. Their usual meeting place and performance venue is at St Mark’s Church Centre, Alma Road, Reigate RH2 0DA. This is where they are often to be found rehearsing on Monday and Wednesday evenings from September through to May or June.
The group aims to stage at least two productions every year. These are often in a light-hearted vein, but sometimes feature more serious drama.
Their programme also includes various other social activities, including play-readings and an annual barbecue.
Expressions of interest from anyone wishing to take part are welcomed. There’s plenty of opportunity to contribute, whether on stage, backstage or front of house. No previous acting experience is necessary.
