BRBAC has been supporting the Arts in East Surrey for more than 40 years, originating after the end of the Reigate Pageants which brought many performers together to stage large entertainments. There are over 40 member organizations covering a wide variety of performing and visual arts and we welcome groups from the wider area as well as those within the borough. An Executive Committee is appointed from the membership, with responsibility for budget and meeting the objectives of the Council
As well as providing opportunities for groups to connect in various ways, BRBAC has been running Arts Festivals since 2012. Originally these featured a week of events based in the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill. In subsequent festivals we added interactive workshops for children and adults, while the performance aspect has become more distributed over different venues, running for several weeks
